Hi Troy, I guess if you were to compare my time in the Plano Pacers 5k on 2/27/10 in comparision to some of my times in the past you would think-"Dude what happened?" Well that gap in time between my last race in 2006 and this race was interrupted my a car wreck where my my most serious injury was a shattered left hip. I had a hip reconstruction, many months of rehab and then in October of 2008 a total hip replacement. I am now on the bike 120-140 miles a week but I still wanted to try to run a little and stay connected to the sport of running which I was very involved in for over 15 years. It was quite a joy to still get out there and to do it with my old running buddies. No more marathons-34 was enough I guess so now I am working on becoming the next Lance Armstrong! :)
